At Nature’s Wisdom, a juice bar and bistro restaurant, we offer only the freshest of ingredients combined in tasty ways to create what we call heavenly food. Our restaurant features a wide selection of dishes for dine-in and take-out, so you can eat with us when you come to town or take your meal for a picnic on the local hiking trails.

Lake Hemet is surrounded by the majestic beauty of the San Jacinto Mountains. The scenery is breathtaking no matter which direction your gaze travels. Tall pines, manzanita trees, sage, and giant oaks abound. Remember to pack a camera and binoculars, and keep a watchful eye as the Eagles and their chicks are often seen soaring above and around the Campground. There will also be plenty of Red Hawks soaring overhead throughout the Forest and Campground.

Lake Fulmor is a 2-acre lake on Forest service property and offers good trout fishing during the spring, summer, and fall. This serene spot is located adjacent to Highway 243 about 10 miles north of Idyllwild. The lake provides day use activities for the public. Fishing and picnic areas with grills, an encompassing trail which crosses a bridge, and beautiful surroundings make this an enjoyable spot for locals and tourists. A parking area is across the highway for the lake so use caution when crossing to and from the lake.

Aboard the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, World’s Largest Rotating Tramcar, you will experience a breathtaking journey up the sheer cliffs of Chino Canyon. Begin the 10 minute ride at the Valley Station – elevation 2,643 ft. and end at the Mountain Station – elevation 8,516 ft. No matter what the season, whether you are enjoying spectacular views or hiking in a pristine wilderness, a one-of-a-kind experience can be had by all.

Enjoying awesome Winter riding at Pinyon Flats, in the Ribbonwood Equestrian Park, 30 minutes from Palm Springs and only 20 minutes from Palm Desert, clients can find a vast variety of plants and wildlife, ranging from Pinyon Pines to Cactus, Bobcats, Foxes and Huge Jack Rabbits...

Idyllwild Park is located less than 1 mile north of the quaint village of Idyllwild at the end of Riverside County Playground Road. The park has 202 acres of beautiful open space, mature forest, breathtaking hiking trails, and a wonderful nature center. In the past, Idyllwild was recognized as America’s cleanest forest and is the perfect place for family and friends.

The deeply weathered summit of Mount San Jacinto stands 10,834 feet above sea level, and is the second highest mountain range in Southern California. No more than a two hour drive from either Los Angeles or San Diego, the mountain's magnificent granite peaks, subalpine forests, and fern-bordered mountain meadows offer a unique opportunity to explore and enjoy a scenic, high-country wilderness area. The park offers two drive-in campgrounds near the town of Idyllwild. Most of the park is a designated wilderness area enjoyed by hikers and backpackers.

The San Jacinto Ranger District is located in Riverside County and encompasses the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains. The area includes steep to very steep canyons and elevations ranging from 2,000 feet to 10,831 feet at the top of Mt. San Jacinto. The landscape is dramatic and picturesque, providing a scenic backdrop for Palm Springs and other Coachella Valley desert communities. The Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument is located along the east side of the area. Idyllwild is the gateway to the San Jacinto Wilderness.

Rising abruptly from the desert floor, the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument reaches an elevation of 10,834 feet at the summit of Mount San Jacinto. Providing a picturesque backdrop to local communities, the National Monument significantly contributes to the Coachella Valley's lure as a popular resort and retirement community. It is also a desirable backcountry destination that can be accessed via trails from both the valley floor and the alpine village of Idyllwild.

Viewed from the road, this desert park only hints at its vitality. Closer examination reveals a fascinating variety of plants and animals that make their home in this land shaped by strong winds, unpredictable torrents of rain, and climatic extremes. Dark night skies, a rich cultural history, and surreal geologic features add to the attraction of this place. Come see for yourself!

Singerton Fine Arts is a family owned and operated art business specializing in 3-dimensional sculptures, 2-dimensional paintings, and 3-dimensional fused glass artwork created by master painter and sculptor, Ronald Singerton. Although many of the sculptures are representational human and animal figures, the abstract and fantasy sculptures reflect the ultimate in exploration of form and movement. Ron's paintings range from detailed landscape to broad brush abstract in a variety of mediums. The glass artwork creations include one-of-a-kind wall sculptures, light boxes, and functional tables.

The mission of IAHS is to preserve the history of Idyllwild and neighboring communities in the San Jacinto Mountains, to maintain artifacts thereof in a manner accessible to the public and to promote public awareness of local history for the enrichment of visitors and residents.

Malki Museum is the oldest non-profit museum founded by Native Americans on a California Indian reservation, and has been the inspiration for several other Indian museums. It has a unique history and is committed to preserving the cultural traditions and history of the Cahuilla Indians and other southern California Indian tribes. Malki also founded an academic publishing press in 1965, which has printed many high quality books and materials on Native American culture, including the well-known Journal of California and Great Basin Anthropology.
