Computer Confidence for Family Historians

May 18-22, 2014 at the Strawberry Creek Inn

A 5-day intensive training retreat with genealogy and IT expert Lisa B. Lee from Got Genealogy?.

By the end of five days, you’ll be able to use your computer and understand technology better than ever, and will have the confidence to try new technologies as they are released, no longer held hostage by your own computer.

You’ll be one of a group of family historians that knows how to take full advantage of all the tools available to help you document the lives of your ancestors.

Gone are the days of keeping track of your family on 3×5 index cards, or binders full of printed family group sheets. Without a computer, your family history research will be stifled, you will not be able to keep track of the mountains of available information and you’ll end up spinning your wheels, retracing your steps, stuck in a research rut. The ONLY way to keep track of all the new data becoming available, online, is to learn to master the way you use your computer.

The Computer Confidence for Family Historians retreat will provide you with the solid foundation you need to utilize current and future technology.
